SEC to Address TBMA Members at February Conference

On February 7 and 8, 2006, The Bond Market Association will host its 11th Annual Legal and Compliance Conference in New York City. This conference features several important sessions which both broadly and specifically affect our markets. For example, the opening session spotlights chief regulators from the SEC, including Alan Beller, head of Corporate Finance and Robert Colby, head of Market Regulation, all of whom will discuss their views of the key issues facing the capital markets. Similarly, we will hear from the SROs on their list of current issues for the bond markets. Furthermore, our keynote speaker, SEC Commissioner Annette Nazareth, will talk about the SEC's 2006 agenda. Other sessions include the exploration of the impact of an outbreak of Avian Flu and what you and your firm should consider in dealing with such a crisis, as well as Credit Derivatives for Securities Lawyers.
