Formation of Best Execution Committee

Since there has been a favorable response to the Best Execution Lunch and Learn on August 16, 2005, a Best Execution Committee will be formed to begin to address the issues that asset managers raised at the event. An initial meeting for members (which includes outside counsel) has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. (Eastern) at the offices of The Bond Market Association. AMF Quarterly Business Meeting

September 21, 2005

The AMF will hold its Quarterly Business Meeting on Wednesday, September 21. At the meeting, members will discuss agenda items relating to Swaps, STP, Corporate Actions and Bank Loans. In addition, there will be several panel presentations that relate to the business activities of asset managers.

Corporate Actions Workshop

September 22, 2005

The AMF will once again host an EastCoast/WestCoast event in Newport Beach, CA and New York City, NY which will focus on Corporate Actions. The Corporate Actions Workshop will address the current risks inherent in the manual processes employed today by investment managers. There will also be panel discussions with custodians, vendors, brokers and utilities on current and future process enhancements.
