CDS Central Counterparty: AMG Members Anticipate Additional Presentations

AMG appreciates educational presentations recently made to its members by firms that intend to sponsor central counterparty facilities relative to the CDS marketplace. We have been informed that additional industry presentations can be expected. Accordingly, AMG is forming a working group to provide advice concerning the points that would be most helpful to cover from the standpoint of asset managers.

Progress on TBA Discussions

As previously reported, AMG is interested in preliminary discussions with FICC representatives to address possibly applying TBA netting functionality to buy side trades. We are seeking industry input to prepare for a meeting with FICC. Several AMG members have already volunteered to assist.
