AMF and ISITC to Meet with DTCC on Warehouse
The Asset Managers Forum and ISITC have formed a working group to work closely with DTCC to ensure that functional and operational issues that are of importance to asset managers and custodians in connection with the Trade Information Warehouse are being addressed and resolved. The Warehouse, a central trade information repository for credit derivatives, was launched on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. We encourage all asset manager and custodian members of AMF to have representation at this meeting. For additional information on this initiative, please contact George Reis of the AMF at 646.637.9280.
Working Group on Fails Management
First Meeting on Thursday, December 7th
As a follow-up to the AMF workshop on Fails Management and Resolution, a Working Group has been established to address the issues that cause fails and could be improved through an organized industry effort. The goal of this initiative is to immediately improve fail rates and also to improve the processes of trading, clearing and settlement of fixed-income securities.
A kick-off meeting for this working group will take place on Thursday, December 7, 2006. If your firm is interested in being part of this, please contact Elisa Nuottajarvi of the AMF Staff at 646.637.9266.
