On December 6, 2006, Joseph Sack of SIFMA moderated a panel comprised of Peter Axilrod of DTCC, Frank DeMaria of Merrill Lynch and James Wallin of AllianceBernstein on the DTCC Trade Information Warehouse at SIFMA's Technology Conference. The panelists discussed the latest developments in market-based solutions being suggested by the Major Dealers to address back-office processing of Credit Default Swaps. The panelists addressed questions on the industry's response to the Warehouse since going live in November and how the Warehouse will be leveraged to streamline downstream processing of CDS and other OTC derivatives, such as equity swaps.
